Cong attacks PM Modi over ‘family-run parties’ remark, says ‘BJP can only see Congress’ dynasty not their own’

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “family-run parties are the biggest threat to the democracy” statement at BJP’s victory rally has rattled the grand old party.

Congress leader Tariq Anwar attacked the PM saying, “BJP can only see Congress’ dynasty not their own.”

PM Modi on Wednesday, while addressing party workers at a felicitation function after the BJP’s victory in Bihar elections and various by-polls, sharpened his attack on dynasty politics saying “family-run parties saying they are the biggest threat to the democracy” and in an indirect reference to Congress said even a national party had fallen prey to it.

‘People take into consideration factors other than family-vaad’

Addressing party workers at a felicitation function after the BJP’s victory in Bihar elections and various by-polls, he asserted that the only mantra for his party’s victory was “Sabka saath, sabka vikas and sabka vishwas”.

Reacting on PM Modi’s remark NCP leader Majid Memon said, “People have become alert and take into consideration factors other than ‘family-vaad’.

Samajwadi Party leader Dr Anurag Bhadouria said that people have the right to choose their leader in a democracy and it is they who make the final decision.

CPI leader Atul Anjan said that the Left parties don’t have a dynastic rule but asked how many BJP leaders’ sons and daughters are in politics, in Bihar.RELATED NEWS
